Protect your garden and outdoor areas with Summit Mosquito Bits®, a biological granular treatment designed to quickly control mosquito larvae in standing water and fungus gnat larvae in potting soil.
Mosquito Bits® contains Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis, commonly known as Bti, a naturally occurring bacterium that specifically targets mosquito and fungus gnat larvae. When used according to the manufacturer’s instructions, the granules can begin killing mosquito larvae within 24 hours, before they develop into biting adults.
The easy-to-apply granules can be used in many areas where water collects, including flowerpot saucers, bird baths, rain barrels, water gardens, gutters, old tires, ditches and other outdoor containers. Mosquito Bits® can also be used to help control fungus gnat larvae living in moist potting soil.
